When I grow up I want to be David Sedaris.  I see no reason for my midwestern, feminine, heterosexuality to prevent me from achieving my goal. 

My practical skills include dairy free, soy free cooking; a deeper knowledge and love of trains than I'd ever have expected before I had children; and international travel with small children.  I prefer the written word, loathe Skype, and if trapped on the phone may try to convince you that Minnesota is the best place on earth.  One day I hope to have an editor who can polish my words on paper until they're as brilliant as they are in my head.
